At Util Points, we value and respect your privacy. In compliance with partner platform policies (such as Facebook / Meta, Apple, and Google), we provide all our users with simple and direct ways to request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data.
Options to Request Data Deletion
You can request data deletion in two ways:
1. Directly from the Mobile Application (Recommended & Automatic)
The fastest and most secure way to delete your data is to do it yourself directly in the app:
- Open the Util Points app on your mobile device.
- Log in to your account (if not already logged in).
- Go to your profile and tap the Settings icon (gear icon).
- Tap the Delete account option.
- Confirm the action. The app will process your request immediately.
Note: This process initiates a 30-day automatic deactivation period, after which all your data will be permanently purged from our servers.
2. Request via Email
If you no longer have access to the application or prefer us to handle the deletion manually, please get in touch with us:
- Send an email to: info@utilpoints.app
- Use the email subject line: Data Deletion Request - Util Points

In the body of the message, please provide:
- Your full name.
- The email address registered with your Util Points account (Google or Apple Sign-In).
Once the request is received, we will verify your identity and proceed with the deletion within a maximum of 30 calendar days. We will notify you once the process is complete.
What data is permanently deleted?
Upon processing your deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed from our production systems:
- Profile Information: Full name, email address, profile picture, and the unique identity provider identifier (Google/Apple).
- Business Relationships (Loyalty): Record of accumulated stamps, available points, and rewards issued or redeemed.
- Notification Tokens: The unique identifier used to send you push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Check-in History: Visit logs directly associated with your customer account are unlinked and deleted (only anonymized aggregate metrics that do not identify you are retained).
Data Retention and Backups
For security, fraud prevention, or to comply with current legal obligations:
- Encrypted system backups may retain data for an additional period of up to 30 days before being completely overwritten and purged.
- Aggregate business statistics (such as the total number of customer visits) are kept completely dissociated from your personal identity (irreversible anonymization).
